Ingredients

500 g Siucra granulated sugar
500 g fruit

 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 170 degrees fan. Warm the sugar so that it dissolves quicker when added to the fruit.

Weigh 500g of Siucra granulated sugar.

Line a baking tray with some baking parchment.

Pour on the sugar and heat for 6 to 7 minutes.

Put 500g fruit into a stainless steel saucepan and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add the warm sugar. Stir to dissolve and bring to the boil. Boil for 5-6 minutes before putting into clean and sterilised jars.
