Winter Heater
Ingredients
200 g Siúcra/McKinney's Granulated Sugar
700 ml red wine
Juice from 1 orange
Juice from 1 lemon
250 ml rum
Instructions
Melt the Siúcra/McKinney's Granulated sugar pieces in a saucepan over a low heat. Add the remaining ingredients and heat without bringing the mixture to the boil. Pour the drink into a vacuum jug and bring the winter heater along in your picnic basket. Remember to bring a hot drink without alcohol for the driver.
