Ingredients

100 g fresh ginger, thinly sliced
11/2 ltrs water
2 tbsp green tea leaves
200 g Siúcra/McKinney's Light Golden Brown Sugar
2 limes, thinly sliced

 

Instructions

Combine the ginger, water and tea leaves in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Take the saucepan off the heat. Leave to stand for 10 minutes. Add the Siúcra/McKinney's Light Golden Brown Sugar and stir until dissolved. Strain and discard the ginger and tea leaves. Refrigerate until serving. Add the lime slices.
